This beautiful deer crossed the Namekagon cautiously assessing the current and tasting of the goodness that flowed by as it went. Spotted 4.25.25 on the property. When deer are hurt they often head toward water, knowing it’s one of the most important thing they need…just as is our need for the living water God offers us. “ As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God” (Psalm 42:1 ).

“The creator designed this bird for it’s special place in His creation. It has exceptional beauty whether sitting on a limb or circling high in the air. It’s eyes ( 8 times sharper than a man’s) can spot a rabbit 2 miles away or a fish far below” - The Wonders of God’s Creation Vol. 1. This beautiful eagle here was spotted on 4.27.25.

"The world will never starve for want of wonders; but only for want of wonder."―

G.K. Chesterton

We spent some time working on the landscaping this Mother’s Day in May and look forward to seeing how plants that existed before and new plants can grow and fill in this space. Nothing compares to the view at the end of this video though! If your staying with us make sure to bring your suits or waters and a hammock to relax on the island !

Believe in God like you believe in the sunrise. Not because you can see it, but because you can see all it touches.―

C.S. Lewis

Another beautiful night as we headed over the bridge to the island to enjoy the sunrise early in the morning on 4.12.25.
